M.I.C.E. Philippines is the country’s brand for meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions, launched by the Tourism Promotions Board at MICECON 2024 in Clark. Four figures hold hands around a heart: the full-colour mark for light backgrounds, and the one-colour white for dark ones.
CEBU × MICE
When Asia thinks MICE, the conversation jumps to Singapore EXPO, Taipei Nangang, Bangkok's BITEC or MITEC in Kuala Lumpur. The Philippines' 2026 MICE push puts Cebu's venues on the same map, with something none of those hubs has: the beach and the ballroom in the same afternoon.
Cebu hosted the 12th ASEAN Summit and the 2nd East Asia Summit in 2007, then Routes Asia and the PATA Annual Summit. In March 2026, the year the Philippines chairs ASEAN, President Marcos opened Megaworld's Mactan Expo in The Mactan Newtown. The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Cebu MICE Alliance, founded in 2025, put it all in the first Cebu MICE Guide: “Staging Cebu for Global Platform”.

Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu
530 rooms on 13 hectares at the tip of Mactan, with a 350-metre beach cove. Two ballrooms split into seven rooms: the Mactan Ballroom takes 600 theatre-style or 480 for a banquet, and the beachfront 800 for a reception. The model is Budots Media’s drone scan of the whole resort, from 2023.

An ASEAN MICE Venue Award winner in Maribago, with a water park, 568 rooms, villas and suites, and over 2,200 m² of meeting space across 12 venues, the largest the Triton Grand Ballroom. The Lind Boracay
A beachfront hotel at Station 1 on White Beach. This one is a schematic massing model built in code from the hotel's published venue data and 27 reference photos, not an as-built: two four-storey room wings around a central pool, and the Lind Ballroom, 28 by 16 metres, on a five-storey tower at the inland end.

Mactan Expo
Megaworld's ₱1.5-billion, two-level convention centre by the beach in The Mactan Newtown, with nearly a hectare of event space. The main hall takes 2,500 theatre-style or 1,600 for a banquet, and splits into three.
SMX Seaside Cebu
SM's ₱5.3-billion convention centre beside SM Seaside City: 21,000 m² of event space for events of up to 18,000 delegates, the biggest SMX in the country. SM Hotels and Conventions already runs Sky Hall Seaside Cebu in the mall.
NUSTAR Convention Center
At NUSTAR Resort & Casino: 2,449 m² under a 6-metre ceiling, up to 2,000 guests, three banquet halls, a pre-function foyer and bridal lounges. The largest convention centre in the Visayas and Mindanao when it opened.
Waterfront Cebu
A long-standing MICE hotel with one of the largest grand ballrooms in the country, for up to 4,000 guests, and 561 rooms upstairs. In 3D.
IC3 Convention Center
The former International Eucharistic Congress Pavilion at 23 Minore Park, seating up to 10,000 for the largest conventions and gatherings.
