PRIVACY POLICY

This policy covers budotsmedia.com and the Isda game at budotsmedia.com/philippines/games/isda. Both are run by Budots Media, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines. We collect as little as we can. We use it to understand how people use the site and the game and to improve them, and we show ads to pay for the work.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits. It tells us which pages were opened and for how long, the type of device and browser, the approximate location (country and city), and the site that sent the visitor. In Isda it also receives game events: for example starting to play, finishing or skipping the tutorial, taking the boat out, casting, catching or losing a fish, reaching money milestones such as ₱10,000, first achievements, coming back for a 5th visit, whether an ad could be shown, clips shared, and on phones and tablets which on-screen controls are used. Google Analytics uses cookies. In Isda they are only set if you allow statistics (see below). See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Embedded videos

Some pages show videos from YouTube and Facebook. YouTube's player is embedded in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Each service may still set its own cookies and record that the video was played, under its own privacy policy.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

The site and the game show ads from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

• You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of other vendors' personalised ads at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
• In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's consent message asks for your choice before any ad or analytics cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link it leaves on the page.

Isda: your cookie choice

The first time you open Isda, a Cookies · Privacy card asks what you allow, wherever you are:

• Accept all: Google Analytics cookies, and Google ads chosen for you.
• Only necessary: no analytics or advertising cookies. Google Analytics then only receives cookieless signals, and you still see ads, but they are not personalised.
• Choose: turn statistics and personalised ads on or off separately.

Until you choose, everything is off (Google Consent Mode, all denied). Your choice is kept in your browser, and you can change it at any time with the Cookies · Privacy link on the game's start screen or in its help sheet.

Isda: play statistics

The game sends anonymous play statistics to our own server. They show us what to fix and what to build next. They include:

• the country you are playing from;
• the kind of device and browser;
• whether the game could start on it, and how long it took to load;
• how long you played, and the most money you reached in the game;
• whether this is your first visit, your fifth, and so on;
• whether Google had an ad to show (not which ad);
• counts of things done in the game, such as fish caught, clips recorded and ads seen;
• where you go on the game's island and where things happen there (for example where you cast, catch a fish or board the boat), so we can see which places work and which are empty.

Each visit gets a random number that is not saved on your device. To count visits, your browser keeps only how many times you have played and the dates of the first and the last. We do not store your IP address or anything that identifies you.

Isda: your game save and your clips

Your progress (money, gear, fish log) is saved in your own browser and is never sent to us. Gameplay clips made with the record button are saved on your device or shared by you. We never receive them.

Isda: feedback

If you send feedback from the game, we store your rating, your message and the contact you choose to give (optional), together with the play statistics of that visit. We read it to improve the game. Ask us through our Facebook page to see or delete what you sent.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.

Children

Our sites are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
